A: No. Virtually all homes have a wood frame, so no matter how the wood is separated from the soil termites can still penetrate it. Termites can even enter through cracks in the slab.

A: Well, that depends on how long the infestation has gone unnoticed. Generally, if the structure has been infested for less than a few months, moderate to light damage results. But it also depends on location as well. Moderate to light damage can be a serious issue if found on a main support beam of the structure. Therefore compromising its’ integrity. A termite infestation which is left untreated can destroy a home within 2-3 years.
Q: Can a Black Widow bite kill you?
A: Well, that depends largely if your allergic, your age and weight, and how soon you are treated. Generally, if an average size adult is bitten (not allergic) is not life threatening, however, symptoms of severe pain and swelling is prominent, possible increase in heart rate, labored breathing and nervousness appear within hours. Regardless of age and size, always seek medical attention if bitten.

Q: How often should I have my home serviced? My business?
A: Your home should be serviced at least once every 3 months (quarterly). This will allow our technician to become familiar with your home in order to diagnose a potential/current problem efficiently. Depending on your business, if food and drink is involved, at least once per month. Insects and rodents are extremely tenacious at invading a restaurant, bar or warehouse. Therefore a monthly inspection and treatment is imperative for control.
