The Brown-Banded Cockroach or Supella longipalpis, is about 5/8" long with two brownish-yellowish bands on wings. This species is nocturnal, able to fly, and can be found just about anywhere in a building. However, they prefer warm, dry areas. They are confused many times with German cockroaches because of close physical characteristics. The Brown-Banded cockroach tends to lay its' eggs in furniture.
