The German Cockroach or Blattella germanica, is about 5/8" long,
light to medium brown. Prefers moisture and warmth. This species is
also nocturnal and can be found mainly in food areas in homes,
apartments, restaurants and supermarkets. Eggs are laid every 20 to 25 days, each egg capsule contains 18 to 48 eggs. Therefore,
populations can grow rapidly leading to a serious infestation.
